The SGB0001 is a plug-and-play bypass solution that temporarily replaces the Secure Gateway (SGW) module in supported FCA/Stellantis vehicles. Important Compatibility Notice

Some newer vehicles produced from 2021 onward—including the Alfa Romeo Tonale—feature a redesigned electrical architecture with the SGW module integrated directly into the BCM (Body Control Module). These integrated SGWs cannot be bypassed.

If your vehicle:

• Shows an SGW during a diagnostic scan,
• Has no visible external SGW module (12- and 8-pin connectors), and
• Is a new-generation model (not a facelift) from 2021+

…it is likely not compatible with this device.

We make every effort to update our compatibility database, but Stellantis service documentation does not always disclose SGW integration. Please verify compatibility before purchase.

 Recommendation:

• Accessing the SGW (Security Gateway) module on Stelvio platforms requires more effort compared to Giulia. To save time and reduce effort during installation or service, it is strongly recommended to purchase two SGW cable extensions.
